  • Submitted by: Jim Fairlie, Perthshire South and Kinross-shire, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 03 February 2023
  • Motion reference: S6M-07681

That the Parliament welcomes the initiative of the reuse charity, Remake, to establish the Climate Café Crieff, which aims to support community conversations about the climate crisis and provide a space for new ideas to be generated; understands that the Climate Café Crieff will be based at the charity's Reuse Hub, and include guest speakers giving presentations on a variety of topics aimed at educating and sparking discussion within the community about sustainable practices and current climate issues; notes that meetings are open to all members of the community, whether they are existing climate activists or people who are just willing to learn more about the climate situation; congratulates Remake for what it sees as this innovative approach to finding local solutions to the global climate crisis, and wishes all involved well for their future efforts.
