  • Date lodged: Thursday, 26 January 2023
  • Motion reference: S6M-07653

That the Parliament notes the call for keen runners and fundraisers of all abilities to commence the new fundraising year by signing up to Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life in Stirling; understands that the charity is bringing back the event to the city in April 2023 and is in the process of offering a 50% discount to early entrants who sign up in January; understands that all monies raised at the race will go towards enabling scientists to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer; notes that entries are open to people of all ages and abilities for both the 5km and 10km events, starting at the University of Stirling's Gannochy Sports Centre, on 30 April 2023, and wishes everyone entering and fundraising, as well as Cancer Research UK, all the very best with their endeavours.
