Lochgelly Band Awarded Asda Foundation's U18 Better Starts Grant

That the Parliament recognises Asda Foundation's grant of £1,500 to Lochgelly Band; understands that this money is to be used as part of the renovation of the band hall, situated in Lochgelly; understands that the Asda Foundation is a charitable company that provides grants to a range of good causes in Scotland, with each project nominated by local people and communities; notes that the U18 Better Starts Grant is focused on supporting local groups to deliver initiatives that improve the lives of children and young people, particularly those providing support during the school holidays; understands that the Asda Foundation invested more than £800,000 in community projects and good causes in 2022 in Scotland; wishes Lochgelly Band all the very best in its renovation works, and thanks everyone involved for all that they continue to do in the local community.
