Largs’ Deli il Cardo Named Best in Scotland

That the Parliament congratulates Largs-based Italian delicatessen, Deli il Cardo, on being named the best in the country at The Italian Awards; is aware that the much-loved eatery, which is located on Largs’ Main Street, scooped the coveted award during a ceremony at Glasgow’s Hilton Hotel; acknowledges that the family-owned deli was recently taken over by Karen Jungnitz and her husband, Siggi, who believe that the business's ethos of friendly service and premium ingredients have been key to its success since the takeover in 2021; notes that Karen has hailed the community’s support for the deli, which employs 10 staff, and dedicated the award win to its customers, and wishes everyone at Deli il Cardo every success in their future endeavours.
