Wee Gurkha Curry House, Nepalese Restaurant of the Year 2022

That the Parliament congratulates Wee Gurkha Curry House in East Kilbride on winning Nepalese Restaurant of the Year at the Scottish Asian Food Awards 2022; understands that since its establishment in 2014, Wee Gurkha Curry House has won the Lux Life Magazine Food and Drink Awards 2018 and Best Asian Fusion Dining Experience (Glasgow), in addition to being a finalist in the Scottish Curry Awards 2018, Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards 2017 and 2018 and the Spice Awards; recognises Wee Gurkha Curry House’s efforts to promote healthy living through minimal fat usage and offering a large selection of vegetables, salads and lean meats; acknowledges what is sees as a staple of Asian cuisine in both East Kilbride and further afield, and wishes the entire team every success in the future.
