That the Parliament congratulates GoForth Stirling Business Improvement District (BID) on being awarded Best Urban Business Development Nonprofit Organisation (NPO) in the 2022 UK Enterprise Awards; understands that the awards, run by SME News are in their sixth year and recognise businesses of all sizes who are leading the way in innovation and customer service in their field; further understands that they are awarded, following nominations and a judging process, to companies who are considered the most deserving for their ingenuity and hard work, and whose achievements distinguish them from their competitors; believes that this is the first business award received by the GoForth team, who recently began a second five-year term following a successful re-ballot campaign; understands that GoForth Stirling BID has already implemented a number of successful initiatives, including the introduction of street ambassadors, free public wi-fi for Stirling city centre, business grants for shopfront improvements, the street stories project, which brightened up empty buildings, and the launch of the Independent Stirling website, and wishes GoForth Stirling further success in the future with delivering its ambitious plans for Stirling city centre during its second term.
