Fringe by the Sea

  • Submitted by: Paul McLennan, East Lothian, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 22 August 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-05680

That the Parliament congratulates Fringe by the Sea 2022 on the successful festival held in North Berwick, East Lothian, from 5 to 14 August 2022; notes what it sees as the invaluable contribution of volunteers, security and production staff, tech and sound engineers, and the management team, who, it believes, have collectively enabled Fringe by the Sea to grow into the festival it has become; notes that 2022 was the biggest Fringe by the Sea to date, with five venues across the Lodge Gardens, showcasing the very best food and drink producers from across the county, attracting tourists from all over Scotland, and wishes the festival organisers all the best for the future as the festival continues to go from strength to strength.
