Cumbernauld Academy Achieves LGBT Charter At Gold Level

That the Parliament congratulates Cumbernauld Academy on achieving the LGBT Charter at gold level; recognises what it considers to be the hard work and dedication of pupils and staff in achieving this prestigious award from LGBT Youth Scotland; understands that the school hosted a pride picnic event, which was attended by local schools' LGBT groups, and welcomes the training and the review of policies, practice and resources that, it understands, aim to ensure that Cumbernauld Academy goes beyond meeting legislative needs and is as inclusive as it can be for pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.
