That the Parliament welcomes the new Climate Hazards and Resilience in the Workplace resources that have been produced by Adaptation Scotland in collaboration with UNISON Scotland and the Scottish Trades Union Congress; understands that the resources include a handbook, a workbook and webinar recordings; notes that the resources were launched at an event on 7 July 2022 by STUC General Secretary, Roz Foyer, Lilian Macer, from Unison Scotland, and Anna Beswick from Adaptation Scotland; understands that the resources have been created to help identify and tackle the hazards that climate change could bring to a range of different workplaces, and believes that all workers should be protected from the impacts of climate change such as windstorms, flooding and heatwaves.
