National Pocket Garden Competition

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils of Lockhart Primary School in Stevenston for being awarded a Certificate of Recognition in the seventh annual Pocket Garden Design Competition, run by environmental charity, Keep Scotland Beautiful; notes that Lockhart Primary School is a North Ayrshire school for children with additional support needs; understands that the design was inspired by the “Secret Garden” and included a multi-tiered design with a crowning tree of life, which keeps everything in the garden alive; acknowledges that the school was only one in eight to awarded the certificate; congratulates the pupils and the teachers for their hard work to create a unique pocket garden, and wishes them every success in the future.
