East Kilbride Young Farmers, Success at the Royal Highland Show

That the Parliament congratulates East Kilbride Young Farmers on scooping the second place Club of the Year title at the Royal Highland Show 2022; understands that the event, organised annually by the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, welcomed 194,000 people over the four days of the event; recognises Alex Perrie, Jill Strang and Jamie Baird for their outstanding efforts in achieving this result; further recognises the many accolades accumulated in recent years by the club, including, recently, as winner of Lanarkshire Club of the Year 2022, and applauds them once again on this latest win for East Kilbride.
