That the Parliament congratulates Steven Carr on receiving a Special Recognition Award at the Daily Record Pride of Scotland Awards; notes that Steven founded the charity, Dnipro Kids, to help a local orphanage following a UEFA Cup tie played by Hibernian FC in the Ukrainian city in 2005; recognises that, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Steven travelled to Ukraine, returning to Scotland with 50 children from five orphanages, and believes that this award is fitting recognition of Steven’s humanitarian efforts.
