Congratulations to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Clinic Assistant, Anne Doherty, Awarded British Empire Medal

That the Parliament congratulates Anne Doherty, of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, who has been awarded the British Empire Medal for long service to the NHS; notes that Anne’s role as a clinic assistant at the Royal Hospital for Children and the former Yorkhill Children’s Hospital has been invaluable to providing essential care to children across the city; commends Anne for providing such care for 44 years and counting; hopes people like Anne can inspire young people to pursue a career in the NHS, and takes the opportunity to again thank all NHS workers that have worked tirelessly, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and continue to do so.
