Tron St Mary’s Parish Church Secures National Lottery Funding

That the Parliament congratulates Tron St Mary’s Parish Church in securing £90,575 from the National Lottery Medium Grants Scotland: Community Led fund; notes the work that this parish undertakes to tackle a wide-range of issues in the local Springburn community, including in relation to loneliness, unemployment, skills development, and health and wellbeing; understands that the parish first opened in 1965 and has operated as a community hub since 2013; acknowledges the programmes that Tron St Mary’s runs from its Refresh support group that give parents and carers of children with additional support needs respite and allows them to chat with other carers, and also its Tots and Toys activities, which allow young children the chance to learn and develop through play; thanks all the volunteers and Reverend Graham for their work within the local community; wishes Tron St Mary’s all the best in their future ventures, and hopes that the parish remains in the heart of the local community for many years to come.
