That the Parliament notes with great sadness the passing of Greenock man, Mike Kimpton, who it understands was recently honoured with the Rotary’s highest accolade for his tireless charity work; understands that for the last 20 years, Mike has been at the heart of the local Rotary movement, supporting aid campaigns for people all over the world, and so fellow Rotarians visited Mike at home to present him with the Paul Harris Fellowship for his commitment to good causes; further understands that the Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship was established in 1957 and is handed out in memory of Rotary International’s founder; believes that Mike will be missed by all those involved in Greenock Rotary Club, and sends its condolences to Mike’s friends and family during this difficult time.
