Community Impact of West Dunbartonshire Group Recognised on Awards Shortlist

That the Parliament commends West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare on being shortlisted in the Community Action category in the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) 2022 Scottish Charity Awards; understands that the Community Action award commemorates community-led groups and organisations that are making a big difference to a small community; notes that SCVO, the national membership organisation for the voluntary sector, aims to support, promote and develop a confident, sustainable voluntary sector in Scotland; recognises that West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare is a community-led group delivering services across the local area, including emergency food deliveries, a school uniform bank, a baby bank and a Christmas toy bank; believes that the contributions by the group have been invaluable to individuals and families across West Dunbartonshire, and congratulates the group on its achievement in being shortlisted.
