That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the unique partnership being forged between Morgan Academy in Dundee and Kanzen Karate; understands that Morgan Academy, led by the headteacher, Johnny Lothian, is constantly looking for new ways to work in the community; further understands that Kanzen Karate is a charitable organisation committed to building better lives through karate; understands that that the new Morgan Kanzen Stags initiative will feature the provision of karate within the school curriculum; believes that this is the first such partnership in Scotland; considers that in promoting the Morgan Six Skills, which, it understands, have been adopted from theGenZ Leaders programme, the partnership offers a new and exciting method of promoting physical and mental wellbeing amongst young people, and congratulates both Morgan Academy and Kanzen Karate on this innovative project.
