Kinghorn Ecology Centre Wins Green Tourism Award

That the Parliament congratulates Kinghorn Ecology Centre on achieving a silver award from Green Tourism; considers that this is a prestigious accolade from the world’s leading sustainability standard that recognises the eco-friendly achievements of tourism and hospitality businesses; understands that accreditation is awarded following a grading by a qualified assessor against a rigorous set of criteria in areas including energy and water efficiency, waste management, biodiversity, social involvement and communication; acknowledges the hard work of the community-led charity to reduce its impact on the environment by reducing its carbon footprint and improving links with the local community; commends the efforts of the general manager, Errin Anderson, and the team, and wishes them all the very best with their plans for the future.
