To ask the Scottish Executive what changes there have been in traffic volumes between 1996-97 and 2004-05 on the A702 at all points for which figures are available.
Answer
There are seven permanent automatic traffic counters located on the A702 trunk road. Traffic data from these sites is collected and held within the Scottish Roads Traffic Database.

To ask the Scottish Executive how many copies of Choosing Our Future: Scotland’s Sustainable Development Strategy were printed and what the total cost was of (a) printing and (b) distribution.
Answer
Six thousand copies of Choosing our Future: Scotland’s Sustainable Development Strategy were printed at a total print production cost of £11,330. Pre-print design costs totalled £8,686.59 and associated project management costs were £464. Distribution costs, including public dissemination, amounted to £2,947.36

To ask the Scottish Executive how many posts jointly funded by NHS Scotland and academic institutions are covered by the new form of contract referred to by Lord Warner (Official Report, House of Lords, 1 December 2005; Vol 440, c 404) and on what date the first of these contracts took effect.
Answer
At this stage of the discussionit is not possible to quantify how many posts any new form of contract would coverin Scotland. A meeting is taking place between Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, UK Health Departments,the Department for Education and Skills, NHS Employers and the University and CollegesEmployers Association on 31 January 2006 to discuss the contractual issues and potential waysforward.
