To ask the Scottish Government what assessment it has made of Dalzell’s role in UK and Scottish defence, shipbuilding and infrastructure supply chains, and what discussions it has had with the UK Government regarding the designation of the mill as a public-interest steel asset under the Steel Industry (Nationalisation) Act 2026.
Scottish Government engages with the UK Government regularly on the steel industry. Our priority is to see the plant operational.
