To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on the consultation, due to be carried out in conjunction with the UK Government, on the phasing out of farrowing crates, including the timetable for its completion.
We continue to work closely with the UK Government and the other devolved administrations, where it is practical and sensible to do so, on how best to achieve measures that improve sow welfare.
This work is ongoing and there is currently no specific timetable for the completion of the consultation.
