Question

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the commitment in the Scottish National Party’s 2026 manifesto to enact a statutory price cap on essential food items, what assessment it has made of the risk that retailers subject to the cap may increase the prices of products not covered by it in order to recover some or all of the associated costs.
