Question
To ask the Scottish Government whether it plans to ensure that optical coherence tomography machines are available in all medical practices.

Scottish Ministers remain committed to a Short Life Working Group specifically to consider the adoption of OCT equipment in optometry practices.
However that Group is yet to be established pending a review of policy plans following the outcome of the 2022-23 Emergency Budget Review.
