Question

To ask the Scottish Government whether it can confirm that examinations will still proceed in the event of increases in COVID-19 cases within the school estate.

Answer

It remains our firm intention that exams take place this year. They would only be cancelled if public health guidance prevented gatherings during the exam timetable. The safety of children, young people, and all education staff remains the overriding priority.
