To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on when the new East Linton railway station will open, and how many (a) weekday and (b) weekend services it will have.
East Linton Station is expected to open in 2023.
Transport Scotland officials continue to work closely with the Department for Transport and the wider rail industry to agree the timetable for the East Coast Main Line (ECML) when it is due to be recast in 2023. This includes finding the ideal service structure for all stations on the Edinburgh to Newcastle corridor, including East Linton.
