Question

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will provide an update on its progress in implementing the Water Framework Directive.

Answer

I am publishing today the second annual report on the implementation of the Water Framework Directive, the Water Environment and Water Services (Scotland) Act 2003 – Annual Report to the Scottish Parliament -2004. I am placing copies of this document in the Parliament’s Reference Centre. (Bib. number 36410).
