Welcome to the 15th meeting in 2019 of the Public Petitions Committee. I welcome our new—or, perhaps more accurately, returning—committee member, Maurice Corry MSP. Maurice previously sat on the committee and is replacing Rachael Hamilton. I put on record my thanks to Rachael for her work on the committee in contributing to the important discussions around petitions. I wish her well in her new committee role.
