Deputy Convener

Agenda item 2 is to choose a deputy convener of the committee. The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish National Party are eligible for nomination. That being the case, I invite nominations for the position.

I nominate Ash Denham.

Ash Denham was chosen as deputy convener.

I congratulate Ash Denham on her appointment, and I look forward to working with her over the next few months and years.
