Prohibition on Quantitative Restrictions (EU Exit) Regulations 2020
Item 3 on the agenda is consideration of a notification from the Scottish Government relating to the Prohibition on Quantitative Restrictions (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. The committee considered an earlier draft in June and, as with the previous statutory instrument, it has been given a category A classification. Further details are outlined in the committee’s papers. The committee is invited to consider the notification and decide whether it is content for those issues to be dealt with by statutory instrument laid at Westminster. If any member is not content for those matters to be so dealt with, they should request to speak now.
Since there has been no request to speak, I take it that the committee is content, and I will write to the minister to notify him of the committee’s position.
