Deputy Convener
Agenda item 2 is choice of deputy convener. First of all, I put on record my thanks to Elena Whitham for her work as deputy convener on the committee. It has been a great pleasure to work with her, and I wish her all the best as she begins her new role as convener of the Social Justice and Social Security Committee.
The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish National Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener. I invite members of that party to nominate one of their number for the post.
I nominate Willie Coffey.
Willie Coffey was chosen as deputy convener.
