The Committee considers its work programme regularly to maintain a rolling programme of business. The Committee's main business over coming months will include:
Legislation
The Scottish Parliament agreed to the general principles of the Circular Economy (Scotland) Bill. The Committee will consider the Bill at Stage 2 at its meetings on 30 April and 7 May.
The Land Reform (Scotland) Bill was introduced on 13 March and has been referred to the Committee for Stage 1 scrutiny. The Committee will consider its approach to oral evidence taking and visits at a future meeting.
Other upcoming work
On 16 April, the Committee will hear from representatives of the People's Panel set up to consider how to improve public engagement in delivering Scotland’s climate change targets.
On 23 April, representatives of the Climate Change Committee will give evidence on their recently published progress report on emissions reductions in Scotland.
