Deputy Convener
Our next task, under agenda item 3, is to choose a deputy convener. The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish Labour Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener of the committee. I invite members of that party to nominate one of their number for the post.
I nominate Paul O’Kane.
Paul O’Kane was chosen as deputy convener.
I congratulate Paul O’Kane on his appointment as deputy convener, and I look forward very much to working with him.
