Good morning and welcome to the first meeting in 2018 of the Public Audit and Post-legislative Scrutiny Committee. I ask everyone in the public gallery to switch their electronic devices off or to silent so that they do not affect the committee’s work. I welcome Iain Gray to the committee—I should say “welcome back”, as he previously convened the committee. Iain Gray replaces Monica Lennon as a Labour Party member of the committee. I am sure that members will join me in thanking Monica Lennon for her contribution to the work of the committee. My special thanks go to Jackie Baillie for her role as acting convener while I was on maternity leave.
