Decision on Taking Business in Private
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the first meeting of the Local Government and Communities Committee in 2017. I wish everyone a happy new year. I hope that you are refreshed from your festive break. As always, I remind everyone who is present to turn off their mobile phones. Members’ papers are provided in digital format, so members may use tablets during the meeting. No apologies have been received.
Agenda item 1 is to make a decision on taking business in private. The committee is invited to agree to take in private agenda items 7 and 8, which are consideration of draft reports on draft budget 2017-18 scrutiny and on payments to returning officers. Are we agreed?
