Good morning and welcome to the 14th meeting in 2019 of the Health and Sport Committee. We have received apologies from Sandra White and David Stewart. I welcome Anas Sarwar to the meeting as a substitute. I ask everyone to ensure that their mobile phones are either turned off or set to silent mode.

Agenda item 1 is consideration of an instrument that is subject to negative procdure. The Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee considered the instrument at its meeting on 7 May and determined that it did not need to draw Parliament’s attention to it on any grounds within its remit. If members have no comments to make, does the committee agree to make no recommendation on the instrument?
