Interests
Good morning, and a warm welcome to everyone attending remotely and in the room to the 20th meeting in 2020 of the Education and Skills Committee. I remind everyone to turn their mobile phones and other devices to silent for the duration of the meeting.
We have had apologies from Iain Gray MSP, so I welcome to the committee a substitute member, Neil Findlay MSP, and ask him to declare any interests.
I am a former schoolteacher and a member of the Educational Institute of Scotland.
I remind members that social distancing measures are in place in committee rooms and across the Holyrood campus. I ask that we all take care to observe those measures during the meeting, including when entering and exiting the committee room.
