The sixth item on our agenda is consideration of two negative instruments. Do members have any comments on the instruments?

I note that our briefing says that

“The Scottish Government is working with the UK Government and the other Devolved Administrations on the implementation”,

which I welcome.

Does the committee agree that it does not want to make any recommendations in relation to the instruments?

Members indicated agreement.

At the committee’s next meeting, which will be on 12 March, we will hear from Police Scotland, the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on the Scottish Government’s “Wildlife Crime in Scotland: 2017 Annual Report”.
