The Scottish Commission for Public Audit is seeking to recruit 2 new non-executive members for Audit Scotland when vacancies arise on 1 April and 1 October 2020.
Working on average 24 days per year, you will be required to attend Audit Scotland meetings and chair one of its sub-committees. You will have worked at senior or board level and will have the ability to think strategically to challenge and influence decision making. You must be able to absorb and analyse complex information to reach solid conclusions and have an understanding of the role of audit in supporting improvement.
These appointments are for a fixed term of three years, with the possibility of renewal.
Audit Scotland’s head office is based in Edinburgh.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 12noon on 3 February 2020.
