23 February 2015: The Committee took evidence from Councillor Andrew S Wood, Dr Sue McLeod, EnviroSource Limited, and Norman Watt, Dundas Chemical Company. The Committee agreed to write to the Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. 28 April 2015: The Committee agreed to close the petition, under Rule 15.7, on the basis that there is support, at both UK and Scottish level, for consistent application of the regulations across the UK. The Scottish Environment Protection Agency and the Scottish Government are involved in the development of the new European Union Best Available Techniques reference documents.
