28 November 2013: The Equal Opportunities Committee considered petition PE1413, by Amy King, on preserving marriage. On the basis that the petitioner's concerns had been considered during the Committee's Stage 1 inquiry on the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Bill, the Committee agreed to close the petition.
