20 September 2011: The Committee took evidence from Libby Anderson, Policy Director, OneKind, Liz Tyson, Director, Captive Animals' Protection Society and Dr Freda Scott-Park, Past President, British Veterinary Association and agreed to write to the Scottish Government, the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and a selection of local authorities (Dumfries and Galloway, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen) seeking responses to points raised in the petition and during the discussion.
