6 September 2011: The Committee took evidence from Huw Francis, Chief Executive, and Angus MacMillan, Chairman, Stòras Uibhist; Allan Henderson, Councillor for Highland Region, Provost of Lochaber, Highland Council and agreed to write to the Scottish Government seeking a response to points raised in the petition and during the discussion. 24 January 2012: The Committee agreed to refer the petition to the Infrastructure and Capital Investment Committee, under Rule 15.6.2, for further consideration of the issues raised in the petition as part of that Committee’s subject remit. Link to Official Report 24 January 2012 (318KB pdf)
22 February 2012: The Infrastructure and Capital Investment Committee considered petitions PE1192 and PE1394 and agreed to recommend to both petitioners that they raise their concerns as part of the consultation on the Scottish Ferry Services Draft Plan. On this basis, the Committee also agreed to close both petitions.
