The Scottish Parliament (Pàrlamaid na h-Alba, 216KB .wav) uses Gaelic (Gàidhlig, 202KB .wav) in its work and MSPs can make speeches in debates (deasbadan, 168KB .wav) ) or ask questions in Gaelic.
MSPs (Buill Pàrlamaid na h-Alba, 276KB .wav) represent constituencies (sgìrean, 138KB .wav) or regions (roinnean, 120KB .wav).
The Presiding Officer (Oifigear Riaghlaidh, 198KB .wav) chairs the meetings of the Parliament. MSPs also work in committees (comataidhean, 138KB .wav).
