The Scottish Parliament will be closed to the public for the Christmas period from Saturday 24th December 2016 to Tuesday 3rd January 2017 (inclusive). The building will open on Wednesday 4th January 2017.
The Scottish Parliament is usually open to visitors Monday to Saturday. The exceptions are the Christmas period and February recess when the building will be closed to the public.

When Parliament is in recess (excluding February recess and the Christmas period when the building will be closed to the public) the building will be open 10.00 to 5.00 (last entry 4.30) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Recess dates are below.
