        Good morning and welcome to the eighth meeting in 2018 of the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee. We have received apologies from our colleague Alex Rowley, who is indisposed.

        I remind everyone present to switch off their mobile phones and other electronic devices, as they may affect the broadcasting system.

        The first item on the agenda is to consider whether to take items 3 and 4 in private. Do we agree to do so?

          The second item on the agenda is consideration of a negative instrument, details of which can be found in paper 1. If members have no comments, do we agree to make no recommendations on the instrument?

          At its next meeting, on 13 March, the committee expects to take evidence from various stakeholders on the Scottish Crown Estate Bill at stage 1.
