The role of the Committee is to scrutinise the Scottish Government’s policies and expenditure in relation to the following matters:

List: Public Health; Sport; Physical Health & Wellbeing; NHS (inc Workforce and Pay, Public Appointments, Performance); Primary Care (inc GPs, NHS 24, Dentistry, Optometry); Acute Services; Health and Social Care Integration; Mental Health; Carers; Health Protection; Health Improvement.

 In all our actions our overriding aim is to improve the health of the people of Scotland.
