About The Committee

The role of the Committee is to examine whether public money is being spent properly by: 

List: considering issues arising from audit of Scottish Government and public bodies’ accounts; scrutinising the financial performance of the Scottish Government and public bodies; examining the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of the public sector, and looking at other governance and financial issues raised in Auditor General for Scotland reports.
