About The Committee

The role of the Finance and Constitution Committee is to scrutinise:

List: The Scottish Government's taxation, borrowing and spending plans; Tax revenue forecasts and receipts; Newly devolved financial powers; the fiscal framework; the estimated costs of proposed legislation; constitutional matters falling within the responsibility of the Cabinet Secretary for Fiance and Constitution

To assist with the Committees continued work, we occasionally need to seek guidance from a number of Committee Advisers
