Remit

To consider how Scotland can grow sustainable TV, film and video games industries.

A debate on the inquiry report was held in the Chamber on Thursday 3 September 2015.

The Committee received an update from the Scottish Government on 15 December 2015.

On 10 February 2016, the Committee held a follow up evidence session with Creative Scotland, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise to establish what progress had been made since the inquiry concluded. Read the written submissions for this meeting.

The Committee took further evidence from the Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Europe and External Affairs on 9 March 2016. On 22 March 2016 the Committee received a further update in writing from the Cabinet Secretary.
