Remit
The Committee has agreed to focus its scrutiny of the draft budget 2014-15, which will be published by the Scottish Government in September 2013, on a number of core issues which it identified during its earlier consideration at the budget strategy phase.
However, it wishes to link these core areas of interest to the Scottish Government’s Scotland Performs which measures and reports on ‘progress in creating a more successful country, with opportunities for all to flourish through increasing sustainable economic growth’. You can access the Scotland Performs website at: www.scotland.gov.uk/About/Performance/scotPerforms
Listed in the call for evidence (175KB pdf) are the core areas of interest which the Committee identified at the budget strategy phase, alongside relevant NPF targets and indicators. It is on these issues which the Committee will focus and on which it is seeking views.
